Dark Side




I spent the weekend doing hunts. One was was Gorean themed and the other was Edgar Allan Poe themed. I set up another house to express my darker side since I was feeling the gothic inspiration.







I enjoyed putting this together.



While we were searching for the hunt items, Talis and I came across a store called "Mad Pea" which had some great quirky knick knacks and some sort of game. Their overall theme seemed to be circus inspired. Anyway, they had a tarot deck there so I took a moment to get a reading.

Hope. It's a foreign feeling.






I have a sense of hope. Somewhere in the anger of entrapment, there is the feeling that maybe this will all be over soon. I'll keep treading water, and I'll believe that I'm going to make it somewhere better. I'll earn it if I haven't already.

hide & Take-Out




This weekend I found this cool place that had some hide merchandise. Some t-shirts and plushies and stuff like that.



We also found some really cool condoms at the KDC mall that play music while you walk. Each of the condoms has its own soundtrack.



This weekend they put out a notice saying that they were looking for a manager for the Chinese Restaurant at Ravenhurst. I expressed interest.



Ryleth the Malkavian's marketing plan? Street advertising. Oh yeah.

Smokes & Guns




I woke up today at 3:30 AM and then started working. My first email that can actually be tracked by the team to have a paper trail for when I started work, was clocked at 4:30. I basically worked 12 hours today, but I did them remote.



I spent most of the day going from lucky chair to lucky chair. Came across a gacha machine or two, but I wound up finding these cigarette vendors. The smokes are really cool. They come in packs of 18 cigarettes. The smokes themselves will burn out as you're smoking them and then leave you with a semi-crushed cigarette-butt to use as a mouth decoration.



The packs are trashed after the last cigarette is gone, but it's fairly easy to go get a new one. They're only like $L20 a pack at the Aya Shop. (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Little Cat Japan/42/181/28)

After work we hung out a bit in front of Tess' house in Dragonfly. She bathed in her watermelon tub. Haha.



We played cards for a bit and then we did a wardrobe change to go zombie hunting. I find it incredibly funny that we needed a wardrobe change to kill the zombies.



Tess wound up killing the most zombies. I think she killed like fifty-something mine crawlers and then like forty-something zombie men.



Mmm. Zombies.

Bun Bun Market




I decided to try and sell bunny baskets. I rented two places and wound up only keeping my stall at the Bunny Wranch. It's $L 210 per week for 60 prims. It's a little more than what I was hoping to pay but so far it's working out okay.

I decorated it a little bit just to make sure that it didn't look like crap. I price the nests based on whether they have good traits or not. So if there's no good traits, they're $L50. If there's one good trait they're $L100 , two good traits $L200 and so on and so forth...

We spent the day checking out freebies, lucky chairs and gachas. I've started another blog about those here.

A Day of Loathing.




I hate Mother's day. You're supposed to spend the entire day showing your Mother how thankful you are that she gave you life. When you're young, they teach you in school how wonderful the day is supposed to be. Shower her with gifts, do something special to show her that you appreciate all that she does.

I'm that idiot kid who took it to heart. Every year, doing my best to show my Mother how much I appreciated her, no matter how she tortured me the rest of the 364 days of the year. Honor your Mother, even if she's tried to stab you to death.

Playing the Pied Piper


Today was the admin auction and ooc dance at Terabithia. The theme was fairy tales and monsters. I went as the Pied Piper. Tsam and Braun were the Red Queen & Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. I took over the stream after half an hour because there were too many commercials on the radio station.



Played some tunes. I went for $L 11,600 in the end. Haha, not too bad I guess. Jayded was little red riding hood and Aria was there as a witch.



Talis got me a very cute little rat swarm that follows me around which really tied in the whole costume I think. I really appreciated the gift.

I like the idea of nonexistence.


I know I said I wasn't going to talk about life outside of my virtual paradise. I lied, I guess. I woke up very sick this morning. In a lot of pain. Took a bunch of pain killers. Spent the first half of the entire day in bed.



Have you ever woken up disappointed? Not in any one thing in particular, but rather disappointed that you woke up? I have days like that.



All I can think, is how wonderful it would be not to exist.

Cardboard Shield.


I had a very bad day today. Was sick most of the day, so I hid in my box. I started out hiding near the box, just being kind of anti-social... and then I eventually found my way inside of it.



I stayed there until late in the evening when Tess and Tim decided we should go and try playing some games. We found a life-sized version of pacman, which was pretty fun. It was called "Munchman" though.



The fire alarm went off later and was screeching for almost half an hour. I wish I could scream like that.

Dancing in the United States of Anonymity


Yesterday was spent hanging out with Talis, Midare and Tess mostly. We went to demonic and spent some time dancing while I obsessed over creating lists on my iPod Touch.



We had a bit of fun there listening to the groovy tunes. I eventually tipped the DJ and requested Cobra Starship - I Kissed a Boy and my all time favorite song, She Wants Revenge - Tear You Apart. I'm not sure why I love that song so much but I do.



Afterwards we went and hung at a party for a bit before heading back home. Selos came for a visit! I haven't hung with Sel in forever.



I gave Sel a tour of the island and talked a bit. I asked Midare to lay down plants around my house because I didn't like the ones that came with it. I had to write a customer service note to the Nocturne owner because I couldn't figure out how to get my fan to turn again. She's super nice and told me where to find the instructions (in the description part of the item... HA!)



I thanked Midare for laying down the plants and then took a bunch of images of the house. I hadn't realized that I'd never done so, haha.
